SmartChef respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This policy outlines our procedures for responding to copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
1. Copyright Infringement Notification
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on SmartChef in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and information to locate it on our site
- Your contact information (address, phone number, and email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

3. Counter-Notification Process
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error
- Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
SmartChef will terminate user accounts that are subject to repeated DMCA takedown notices or are otherwise determined to be repeat infringers.
